About Us CIAI was founded in 2001 through volunteer effort, following an increasing sense of exclusion felt among African/Black immigrants in British Columbia. Vision Statement CIAI aims to facilitate a smooth integration for African/Black immigrants. CIAI believes in equal opportunities, which result from strengthened acceptance of diversity, achievable through cross-cultural exchange, information, education, and active participation in the development of society.
